We are in southern NC and last night was a mess I was up all night(and normally im up every hour anyway b/c my 7 month old thinks he should nurse every hour last night he wanted to sleep and only woke twice...go figure), we had one tornado 6 miles from our house between 230-3am, luckily no reports of serious injuries just alot of property damage. The wind and lightening was insane with those bands of thunderstorms! Just wanted to see if there were any other mama's that had to brave the storms...How did y'all make out?

I'm way up nort. (yes I said nort on purpose lol) We just got some REALLY wet snow here. I honestly think our county is one of the safest counties weather wise in the whole united states. Unless you get into a car accident because you can't drive in the snow or something .

Hope the rest of you are staying safe though! I think there are a couple southern moms here.

I'm pretty sure that's the same band of storms that rolled thru here a few days ago. They were brutal but our area was lucky. Stay safe!

We are New Englanders so all is well here. I pray for everyone who was affected by the storms. They sounded very scarey!
