I'm just curious what everyone is paying in different parts of the country. Sometimes I wonder how we can afford to send my DH to work
We cut back driving, but there are still some necessary trips.
I'm in Wisconsin and we are at 3.79, which I hear is cheap.
We drive a 12 passenger for the family and my DH has a mini van for better mileage. But to fill up the 12 passenger.....ouch!

Hmm lets see - for the Canadians, where I live we're at 1.286 per litre. If I convert that...
3.79 litres is 1 US Gallon, so 3.79 x 1.286 = 4.87 per gallon

$3.87 is the average here. I'm not worried about gas so much as I am the food prices and EVERYTHING else that is going to go up even more when we reach the predicted $5 a gallon. We might not be stuck at home, but we'll probably starve to death!

We are in the upper $3.70's here also (I haven't been out this week so I'm not sure what the exact price is) Cheaper gas here in Iowa is one thing I will miss when we move to Michigan.

we are at 3.87 last week when I filled but hubby filled his work truck and said it had gone up again (Thank God he has a gas card and company vehicle to take him back and forth...or we would be jobless and starving)

As of yesterday the cheapest I saw was 3.71 with the average being 3.79. For a week or so we went from 3.00 and watched it jump daily. It seems to have stalled out a bit so I am hoping it won't be jumping to much but I am not holding my breath. I don't really go anywhere so my husbands truck is the biggest one to use gas and it does pretty good but he drives about 40-50 miles one way and we are just now starting to feel it. My DD's little car does really good about 33 mpg and found that about 40 a week can get her to and from work and she travels about 30 miles one way.

I'm in St. Louis and it is 3.99 a gallon here. We drive a 15 passenger van and a truck. We also have a minivan as a 3rd car, but we are considering trading in the truck and minivan for a more fuel efficient car for dh to drive to work. It plain just stinks!!

It's 3.80 here - at least yesterday it was. Today it's liable to be $4.00. Grrr.

We're at 1.13 a liter, so using Kraze's calculations that would be $4.28 a gallon.
This is why I drive a minivan and not an suv.

I'll trade every single one of you!
We are at 1.389 a litre, which works out to about $5.26 a gallon
Any takers?

Nope, I'm not willing to trade! That hurts me just thinking about it.
Ours was 3.65 today.
