Sorry I've kinda dropped on JM for the past 6 weeks as we moved from IA to MI. We only have limited internet access. We should close on the purchase of a house here this week and be able to finish moving our stuff from IA to our new house here in Michigan the first weekend of June.

Life has been very busy as we adjust to my DH new position as pastor. The people at the church have been very welcoming.

We had an u/s two weeks ago and the tech was pretty sure we are having another girl. Today at my Dr appointment he went over the rest of the results from the u/s and we learned that our baby has a choroid plexus cyst on her brain. Apparently these are somewhat common and usually clear up on their own without any problems but they are linked with an increase risk for trisomy 18 & 21. They will be doing another u/s in 3 weeks to recheck the cyst. We are trusting that God has a plan in all of this. The good news is her heart and all her other measurements looked good.

Hopefully I'll be able to be around a little more often once life settles down more around here. I miss "talking" with all of you ladies.

I thought you forgot about us here. I saw the update in the DDC.

I think FW said that one (or more?) of her children had that cyst thing and they are perfectly normal.

Yeah I was going to update here but then figured I'd wait until we found out when closing and the move was so I could give you all even more of an update I guess the cysts are not all that uncommon but I don't think I know anyone irl whose baby had one.

My #3 had them. She is the smartest of all. My then family doc said they aren't even considered a marker anymore because of how common it is. Thanks or he update! Glad things are going smoothly.

sorry about the cyst. My son that passed away also had one of those cysts during the pregnancy.

Good luck with the move. We just bought in October and buying and moving is just so stressful!

I was just thinking about you a few days ago-glad the move is done and things are going well-sorry for the cyst, its never fun to hear about things like that when you're pregnant. I've had two friends with that on u/s and the kidlets were fine. ((hugs)) mama
