Laundry never seems to end. I just finish a load and a new one is waiting. It just keeps piling up!!!! UGG I have spent most of the last two days in the laundry room, washing folding, and sorting out the summer clothes. I feel like laundry, dishes and cooking is all I ever get to do!

How do you stay on top of it all at your house. Cleaning is definately my biggest parenting flaw, I just cant seem to keep things clean!

We moved all the dressers into the laundry room. This way I can fold and put away right on the spot. I just wish my dryer didnt take so long. With a med load it takes about an hour if its a jam packed load its closer to an hour and a half!

You need to get your dryer and ducting serviced and cleaned out or you need a new heating element. My laundry room is a closet in the hall. I do two or three loads a day and it is usually caught up.

I do most of my laundry on mondays, wash/dry/fold/put away (well the kids do that part) and make it my goal for the day (if I don't I'll have laundry hanging over my couch for days because I don't get to it). Then I do 1 load a day after that of jeans/towels/dh's work clothes. The older kids know that if they want their clothes washed they make sure it's in the laundry basket, not in their rooms.

I am going to have to teach the kids at some point, but I'm pretty particular about it, and my system works well for me, so I'm not sure when I'll let it go.

I have a schedule I follow....bathrooms one day, changing sheets one day, and so on. Laundry and dishes are everyday. I just recently switched to putting hampers in each bedroom, instead of one basket for the whole family. I had found it was taking me forever to fold and put away because I had a zillion piles for six people. Now I just wash, fold, and put away for one person at a time, and it is so fast. I do my two girls that share a room together, but that's it.

ugh, laundry, bane of my existence We just took all 6 camping last weekend and due to some crazy work stuff with my honey I am still catching up, lol... 6 loads yesterday, just need to fold it all and then get the regular week's laundry done. Hoping to get it all finished today since Chris is picking up some overtime today, lol.

I did just move a table into the laundry room and that seems to be helping a bit just to have somewhere besides the livingroom couch to dump the clean loads for folding...
