How often do you bake and how much do you make and how long does it last?

Today, I made 100 oatmeal raisin cookies and 24 banana muffins, and I expect them to all be gone by thursday morning. If they were chocolate chip cookies they'd be gone by tomorrow night (thus, I made the oatmeal).

I just made about 5 dozen peanut butter cookies for snacks, they'll last a while yet though. I think the kids get sick of them after a few days. If I made muffins for breakfast or something they would not last very long. I should actually do that for breakfast and freeze some of those too instead of just waffles

It depends on what I bake.

If I do a spiced apple bundt cake it'll be gone in about 3 days. Muffins about the same too; I no longer have to make big batches of stuff anymore, so the max I might bake for muffins is 2 dozen.

I don't really bulk bake, they'd eat it all in an hour I think.

I don't bake in the summer, only the cooler months, cookies I double a recipe and they will last a day or two. Cupcakes maybe 24 and last a day or two. Since those things are treat's I only do it a few times a month.

Dita does most of the baking (the perks of having a child who wants to be a chocolatier / pastry chef) but on the occasion that I do, I usually cook a couple dozen of something.

I usually double the batch and add oatmeal or cornflakes ( gotta sneak in something healthy) and it will last 2 maybe 3 days tops.

ANYTHING and I mean anything we bake never lasts more than two days.. My kids love to eat! Not one of them is overweight either. We have no idea where they put all that food.. Two of our ten children live out on their own. Ya know our food bill has only gone up in price too....hmn...

I tend to bake in huge batches. I might bake hundreds of muffins in a day and separate into baggies for freezing. that way the kids can take them out individually for snacks. As for cakes and cookies they are usually a treat and never last more than a day or two.

I usually make about 120 muffins, 35 egg burritos and about 4x(about 16 dozen) the recipe cookie dough(I separate it and freeze it so it's made slowly). That lasts a while. My kids aren't allowed to take whatever they want. They follow the food plate( ChooseMyPlate.gov ), and occasionally get extras(Like cookies and treats).
