I had to laugh when I saw you thread Terre because I actually logged on today to post a thread about names, lol! I didn't want to hijack yours away from the expectant mommas though. I am not nor will I be an expectant momma. I feel very confidant in the family size I have now.

However...I fell head over heals in love with a new boy name that sounds so perfect with Coleman and Lucas (my two boys).

Judah (not to be mistaken for Judas but more Old Testament, Leah's son, good tribe that Jesus descended from, etc.)

My imaginary 3rd son would be Judah Lincoln Maxwell nn Jude.

Cole, Luke and Jude! LOVE it!

but still not enough to try for another....

My fav for a girl is still Susannah Daphne nn Sunny.

So what's your favorite name that you may or may not ever use?

If our baby (due to arrive any time now!) is a boy he will be Jude Thaddeus. (St. Jude Thaddeus, brother of James the Less, and one of the 12 Apostles.)

For girls, we have three in mind:
Adelaide (Adela or Heidi for a nn - not sure which.) St. Adelaide is the patron saint of parents of large families
Juliana - we'd call her Ana (ah-nah)
or Josephine - we'd call her Josie.

Now, we just need a baby.

I have lots of names that I like, but I do not know if we will ever have another one. We like our family size right now.

If we were to ever have another boy, he'd probably be Nathan Elliot. That is the boy name we had picked out if Peyton had been a boy.

I have a list of girls names that I liked, and DH veto'ed each of these:
Lael
Laila
Allusion
Savannah
Eden

That's all.

I like Judah....nice.

I love Josephine. If I ever have another girl, thats her mn. One of my best irl friends, a fabulous lady, was named Josephine. She passed away almost 2 years ago now.

I love, love, love the name Obadiaah. Another boy, thats his name.

For girls I am not sold on anything. I like Evaani.

Ohhh I also like Eden, but no way to put a double a in it.

Hmm we are working on these so far for a girl
Delilah
Brisaya/Brisayah
Zuriah
I'm still playing with middle names thinking Genevieve, Catherine or Monroe (all family names) for the mn

For boys so far
Kyler
Hunter(not sure if thats too popular for my tribe but dh really really likes it and it fits)
Gunner(not to sure on this one)
Zavier (a little to long to fit with the other boys but doable)
mns so far are Monroe, Reed/Reid(if we use Hunter because dh hunts and I read), and idk thats it so far.

My second son would have been Thomas James. That was always the plan, before we had any kids at all. Son #1 was named after my dh. And then he has three sisters, lol. No Tommy.

Like I posted before there are a few names that I like. I also like Ophelia too, but I think it got nixed. We'll see what name we actually end up using.

Now that we know this one is a girl It is either going to be Ava Gwenevere or Sophia Grace. Leaning more towards Ava.

Congrats on the arrival of baby Josie!!

Kristina, I'm still pulling for Delilah!! But just in case, have you considered Zinnia or Zaelia?
I know a little Gunner in real life and he has made me love the name.

LOVE Ava Gwenevere. I'd totally love Gwenevere as a first name too!
