They say that the more children you have the shorter and better the labor is.Did that prove to be true for you?
All my labors were long and seemed like it went on forever. My last one I went into labor at 7am had the baby 7:01am the next morning. My first was 3 days. Not all hard labor obviously but still labor.

I bounced around a little but yeah they got faster. not a good thing for me.
dd--7hrs
dd2--3.5-4hours
ds--1hr15m
ds2--1.5 hrs
twina-1.5hrs
twinb--c/s
You might think a 1hour labor is great but trust me, its NOT. Although I would take it over 3 days.

I don't really know, I was induced with my last 3 so it's hard to say.
For me post partum bleeding got worse every time, and particularly bad the last 2 times. Now I think it could almost be related to being induced and the type of labors I had, both not very natural at all, but whatever, it's in the past. (phew).

Nope, not at all. I specifically remember the first two were 36 and 42 hours. After that they got shorter, but only in the realm of 1/2 a day to 24 hours.

This is hard cause mine were all so different and I don't really have labor till I reach a 4/5 so with that in mind here we go..
DS#1 18 1/2 hours, hard labor and also my biggest baby at 9-9
DD#2 about 15 minutes, had her at home on the couch.
DS#3 induced for fear of fast labor. Actual labor was maybe 2 hours...next biggest baby at 7-1.
DD#4 Maybe an hour and a half. I think I was having pains but they weren't strong enough to really get my attention. She was born about 35 minutes after getting to the hospital.
DS#5 Water broke...thought I pee'd myself, about an hour after getting to the hospital he was born.
DD#6 long, not sure how long though maybe 16 hours? She did come with a bang though, unassisted and freaking the nurses out. They lifted up the blanket and there she laid. I honestly didn't feel anything except I thought it was more water.
All of my babies except the 2 how's weights I listed were either 6-6 or 6-8 I can not remember who was what though. I did not birth 2 of them...YAY me!

Not really
#1 was 24 hours
#2 was 8 hours
#3 was 8 hours
#4 was pre labor for at least 24 hours then like 8 hours of real labor
#5 was around 12 hours
#6 was pre labor for days then 10 hours of steady labor
#7was again pre labor for at least a week andthen 8 hours of labor
#8 was pre labor for 2 days contractions bouncing from 30 min apart to 7 minutes apart they never really were regular either got to the hospital and they said I was 10 cm but I didn't feel the urge to push yet of course I had a lip and he wasn't delivered until 6 hours later after the midwife had held my cercix back with a pushing contraction ugh. I always always get stuck at 9 + for at least 2 hours

I was induced with all of them, the first after being in labor for 24 hours, water being broken so they pushed it on me.
After the 1st all my labors were 6 hours or less. Shortest was 3 hours with Rebecca, and I bled the most afterwards with her, I think it was due to too fast of labor or too hard of a pushed induction. She was also my smallest 'full term' baby.
I am nervous and curious to see how long this labor will last since I really really dont want to be induced.

1 st was a few hours start to finish. I think I arrived at hospital at about 3 or 4 am and had baby by 7:45 am.
2nd was an emergency c/s so no labour
3&4 were ergent c/s so no labour

My first was 14 hours 46 minutes start to finish
second was 3 hours 38 minutes
third was 18 hours 44 minutes of back labor!
last was born at home after 4 major contractions
So yes except my third one....he's the stubborn one too LOL
I'm not sure if I believe it was because she was the fourth. I was told if you have chiropractic care during pregnancy, your labor is shorter. My last is the only one I had chiropractic care for so I think that's what made the difference. We shall see with the next one
