Maybe the first time I would wash them with all darks, but then I would wash with all the other stuff. I only separate whites out of everything else. I don't do towels/light colors etc separately.

I am a little particular with my laundry (if you'd care to know my sorting strategy, I do dh's old clothes, towels/whites, jeans, blue and greens, pink and purples and lights) I would wash them inside out with the lights.

You eventually forget about the instructions anyways and they end up with everything else, so may as well just wash them.

I'd wash by themselves first time around on cold/cold cycle and dry on low/fluff.
After that with same colored/lights.

I separate darks, whites, colors, and do loads with blankets/towels/sheets. White socks also get washed alone.

I would wash them by themselves on the delicate cycle with a gentle detergent, then lay flat to dry. You'll have to iron them, but it doesn't say you can't.

I wash everything together. If it falls apart than it is not meant to be a part of our wardrobe, lol. Probably not the best advice for your dh's pricey pants though....

Those are the strangest instructions I have ever seen! Were they made in China? Maybe there is a language barrier thing. I have seen it before?

Ok since I know y'all were on the edge of your seats waiting to find out the outcome.
I turned them inside out. Washed in cold with dreft and tumble dried on low heat. I think
they came out ok. You would think if you spend more $$ on clothes, they would wash themselves, not become more complicated to wash.

A lady at a clothing store once told my mom that they put these types of instructions on as a preventative measure. As in, some people just don't have common sense when washing certain things, and they don't want them bringing back the stuff after it getting wrecked after having washed it once.

For anything that I think is delicate or may get stretched or wrecked, I always put it in one of those netted laundry bags. But that's if I somehow missed the washing instructions before buying it, because if it's dryclean/lay flat to dry I just won't buy it.
