So Rob and I can't agree on any names at all. He is liking more unique names. He actually thought D'Artagnan would be a suitable name. I'm not so sure on that.

For girls I think I like either Melody or Olivia, or maybe Ophelia. Middle name will probably be Jean. Boys my favorite name is Finley. You guys know my kids' names, so pick me some unique names that both of us will like! lol

Oh one more thing. I don't really like one syllable names. Even Jayde I call Jayde Erin a lot because I just don't like the one syllable thing.

Hmmm I threw this name out to my sister and I got an immediate NO, but I like it lol

Harper Abigail

Let's see, I suck at this, I could barely name my last two

Boys names I have always liked:

Devlin or Devin
Marcus
Alexander ( I think would fit in good with the others names)

Girls:

No clue, nope nothing coming to mind...

How do you pronounce the one your husband suggested? I can't get my mouth around the sound.

Well, I am extremely biased, because I love the name Ophelia but DH poo-pooed it. So I am going with Ophelia on this one.

I think Finley is such a sweet name too.

My nephew is called Dartainion. The mom wanted the name from 3 muskateers but got the spelling wrong. I will say I don't like it on him and the other kids do tease him about it.

I am not much help with names though we can't agree on a girl name. I like Irish and Scottish names.

Finley sounds like a boy to me. However I like girls name that sound like girls names. I am not a fan of unisex names.

Melody is very pretty.

Lucas and Abram are cool.

Finley is now a girls name too?

*head desk*

Very soon there will be no boys names left, haha.

(That said, I am married to an Ashley, have a male Sasha, and was informed recently that someone knows a little girl named "Azraelle" so... there you go...)

Sasha is totally male. Co-opted for girls, like Billie or bobby. But really is masculine. I know two girls named Finley here. Never heard the name before they came along.

My next boy could be Walter Joseph. A girl could be sabra Josephine. One of my dogs is karis jean. I would totally use that if I didn't have a Katherine.

I love Sasha but on a girl. I have a friend named Sasha who is a girl, and my daughter has a friend thats a girl named Sasha. We also named our pet (girl) Sasha. I have only known one boy with that name, he was in my ballet class as a teen, not sure his nationality but wasn't canadian.

In Russian it is short for alexander/dra, but der is far more common than dra, thus Sasha is a predominantly male name, but is used for both.

It is pronounced Dar-tan-yuhn, I like like it! You can get a nice NN out of it, Tagnan!

I think girl when I hear Sasha too but I have met a male Sasha before.

Normally, I would say that I'm against boy names for girls (it's hard enough choosing a masculine name without worrying about sharing the same name with a girl) but there's a few I call my guilty pleasures. Carsyn (which is sad because this is my new nephew's name), Miller (I call Milly this sometimes and think it's so cute for a girl) and Billie (I just love it but I find it boring on a boy)
