i noticed on your ticker that you are getting close to delivery. how's it all going? do you know 'who' you are having yet? are you feeling confident in your new neighborhood and have a doctor you trust? just thinking about you....

It's been a busy summer getting moved and settled. We finally got internet at the house last week so that's nice. I do like the doctor I found here. We think we're having a girl although she's been shy about giving us a clear shot so we could be in for a surprise.
It looks like I'll probably have an induction next week. I have a slightly bicornuate shaped uterus that doesn't cause problems during pregnancy but in the last few weeks when the baby gets bigger it stretches more side to side causing them to lie transverse rather than head down. I've had had this happen with my last two babies so wasn't a surprise when she was transverse last week at the appointment. My babies can be turned head down easily but don't stay that way for long. So after weighing the risks of csection and prolasped cord if I were to go into labor when she's transverse we decided an induction after 39 weeks involved the fewest risks for me and the baby. I have an appointment Monday and if all looks good we'll probably set up the induction for Tues or Wed so it won't be long now!

Good luck. Hope everything goes well. My son was transverse the whole pregnancy until three days before delivery had ultrasound and he was head down. But when i went into labor he was transverse again. I got to hospital and i was already fully dilated thank god my water didnt break for chance of prolapse cord. But i had to have a csection right away! Goodluck
