We have done private and public school. When the older two were younger they were both in private school. The problem was my oldest has a learning disability and all the services she needed were through the public school. When we moved where we live now we put them both in public school. And when my 3rd started school we put him in the public school.
I have had some issues with our public school, but overall I think the kids are getting a great education.
When my youngest starts school full-time I will be looking to go back to work. I was a teacher and have been thinking I may look to teach in private school so I can get a discount on tuition for my youngest to attend it. I miss the small private school feel. Parents all knew each other and classes were small. Kids moved from grade to grade together. It was really close knit and public schools here don't have that.
