I'm so sorry UM, it's never easy!

I've got two pumpkin pies going, hopefully this year I don't drop them. A Jello mold (2 actually) in the fridge, and rice pudding going in the slow cooker. That just leaves me with all of the side dishes and possibly rolls. My house smells amazing!

Sorry for them UM.

I'm not much in the mood for thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll wake up excited for the holidays.
I ordered a pizza for lunch, then I will make the jello for tomorrow. The rest of it will get done tomorrow I guess. I still have to go to the store for squash (other store didn't have any) a can for the turkey's butt, and some stuff for deviled eggs that I forgot. I think I have everything else.

I was watching "Gone with the Wind" with 1,2,&3, but now it is time for "Modern Family". And snack. How bad is it that I'm eating #9's potty treats?

I'm at the inlaws. It's going to be a long day. I have the worst attitude in the house. I really need to stop, but I gotta be real.

I'm home from my Black Friday shopping, we got there at 5 to scope it out and were home before 8. I pretty much got what I went for, and people were really well behaved. Only at one point did I think "****, I hope Sam's okay", She was in the front trying to grab a video game when people kinda all leaned in at the same time. I was in line for one of the new ones, but that just went in an orderly fashion....the cops around probably helped with that a little.

It was funny, one of the managers came over and asked every to raise their right hands, so people did, then he said to repeat after him "I promise to behave myself and act like a civilized person". Everyone laughed, and everyone behaved. Honestly people were really freaking nice and helpful. Years past there's always someone, or two, that are just *****, but tonight no one was.

My current problem, I have no idea where the hell I'm going to hide all of it. Most of it is large and going to other people, but the rest.....? Tomorrow I go in and try to get Chuck tires. Yay...sarcasm.

Yep beer can turkey. Fosters cans fit, or you can use food cans. I had a can of sweet potatoes hanging out in the cupboard forever so we just opened that and dumped the stuff out of it, filled it with beer/seasonings and other stuff.

No money for black friday shopping like usual. Plus the way the crowds looked I wouldn't have wanted to be out there anyway.

What's 210x13? That's how many calories of m&ms I ate yesterday and this morning. #9's bag is gone. At least I can't eat anymore.

a-whole-helluva-lot FW

I went "Black Friday" shopping. LOL. Really I just went to get the big girls their winter boots which were on sale BOGO Free. I found a really cool popcorn gift set for Naathaniel and Spongebob Cocoa mug set for Laliyaah.

I am done now. I made pot pies for my son, my gma, my bro and us. They are famous. LOL.

FW you totally make me laugh.

It's my #4's birthday party, her friends had a sleepover and are now playing outside. 2 couldn't make it, so that makes it very managable. I always feel kind of bad that I don't have very much enthusiasm for her parties, since it's the third one this month I am kinda sick of them, hosting, the food, the mess in my house, just all the extra work. The child herself I probably celebrate the most, she was my preemie, so I am so very thankful for her. Her actual birthday is tomorrow. Grandparents are coming over in the morning, cousins in the afternoon.

Hope you all had a nice thanksgiving

We never had black friday here a few years ago, a few stores did it last year and now the whole country is on board. Madness.

n o black friday for me. i am willing to go out in the early mornings to get the little bit that i have left to buy. its going to be a small but wonderful christmas around here. i WILL find my joy.

actually yesterday was a good day and i am grateful that i changed my mind and cooked. it was such a laid back day - i didn't stress over spilled food or kids running around or not enough seats at the table for all to sit. it gives me hope that i can find my holiday spirit again like i have had in years past. now if only i could find a place to put the tree!!!

3 strands of lights are out. I can't decide if I should try to replace bulbs til they come back on or just go get new ones and throw these away. #5 is all about helping set up the tree. He is so excited. We haven't gotten anything new in a while. I guess I will go to dollar general.

i'd vote for trash the old, buy new.

been thinking all day about where to put the tree. its a huge decision because there is no good place for it to go. and it's not happening today, thats for sure. maybe next week.....

its 'sprinkly' outside. might sew for a few minutes but really just restless today and have no clue what to do. kids are all playing quietly, lunch is done and laundry is almost finished too. kate came home from work puking mightily so she is banished to her room.

I loved the paper tree also.

I'm so flipping bummed that I lost my phone, my new phone

On a good note, I got a few more things while we waited 3 1/2 hours for Chucks truck to get finished.
