Amira, I've had one of the "old technology" ones and that wasn't too bad either. One of my best friends had a double mastectomy following breast cancer, anyone who complains about mammograms being uncomfortable around her gets put on their place.

Cybele, well some could blame the "the old technology" on mamo's for the pain it did cause some people. I think the complaining that some women did, is was lead to a better testing device. For some women, the horror stories was enough to make some not even get mamo's.

Today is "do nothing" day! Cleaned and then will cook but thats IT!

Number 4 turns 11 today. Had a family dinner and cake for him, got him a kindle fire. I'm sure you will hear me complain about that later. We are having a big capture the flag party on Saturday with a friend. They are seven days apart. The friend was actually born on his due date. He was my earliest at 7 days late!

Sounds fun I hope it goes well FW.

I think it's funny that when other people say they have a "nothing" day they actually do nothing, whereas we still cook and clean.

I am breaking up with snowboarding. I gave it one last chance today. And then I had to examine why I am doing something that is a lot of work, has way greater risk of injury, in boots that hurt my feet, with a sore body afterwards. I'll just stick to skiing from now on.

My nothing days only mean less then any other day lol

Enjoy your party, sounds like fun! Make sure to put parental controls on the kindle

So Lupans girlfriends grandma isn't doing well, she been in chemo and doing okay, then broke her shoulder. Which is all I knew, today I asked Luapn how she was doing and he said something about being taken off of life support...I was like " wait, what?", for a broken shoulder?

Well tonight his GF texted for my help, I guess he's kinda been riding her about going and working out (typical guy thing to deal with stress) and when she says no he keeps at it so she wanted me to try and explain that right now she's just not up to it. While chatting I asked about grandma and it sounds like she's rallying, but it's that last push before someone passes.

So I talked to Lupan in a generic way so he didn't know she came to me for help about giving her space, accepting no when she says no, and picking up any slack that might come about cause right now her focus and time needs to be with grandma. This is new for both of them, I also said if they needed dishes washed to call me. I feel so bad for her, she is very close to her grandma. Hopefully he heard me and leaves her alone now.

one week from today (or less depending) we get the keys to the new house. so much accomplished but still so much to do. today I have the twins here plus Josie so its gonna be a challenge. I told the boys they could help me pack legos later on.

last night I got virtually no sleep between the steroids (they give me insomnia) and our coughing in tandem for hours on end....was finally sleeping when DH called to say it was time to get up. (we don't own an alarm clock).

it is gorgeous outside!!! just thought i'd share that.

Now we think #4 has an ear infection. So I'm taking him in so he can get antibiotics so he isn't miserable all weekend. We are going to a marriage study tonight. They hook us up to monitor blood pressure then have us discuss a conflict. We don't have any real conflict and I have really low blood pressure so we aren't really any help to the scientific community, but they will give us $30 and we will go out to dinner.

A grandma and a baby!!!! Just like me and my mom...YAY! Congrat's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kittens, haha, my husband always refers to our kids as litters. The older litter and the younger litter

FW hope #4 feels better!

HD I made pumpkin pancakes..so yummy.

MIL enjoy the nice weather. I slept like pooh also last night, it makes for very long days.

I learned that when it comes to addition and subtraction, with regrouping, that Aiden is much better at stealing from his neighbor then he is with sharing with his neighbor. Not sure what that says lol
