Mil....of course Im not a doctor but if your face looks like that and is itchy...that sounds like an alergic reaction?? have you eaten anything different or new creams, make up? has anyone else used your makeup?

What about your swimming pool? the cleaning agents in it? the way it has been cleaned? the shower head? thats got to be frustrating and irratating! go to a board certified dermatoligist ...

FW that scholarship would be a help and hopefully she can get it!

I was going to finish watching my scary movie that I started like forever ago..but Ijust put the baby in bed (unusually late night for her) and Dh is already sleeping, and Im already 'hearing noises' ....so ..guess not...

Terre, I hope they can come up with an answer for you soon. That sounds/looks terrible.

DS17 has an information day about applying for university, because his school is so small they are going over to the local all girls school for it, which is his girlfriend's school. I have him on strict orders to behave himself, but his best friend was over this morning, bouncing around gleefully at the idea of lots of girls.
Text from my husband says he's okay, but his porridge was cold. Important stuff.

I'm glad your husband is ok, and still worrying about his food. That must say something lol

Terre, it sucks that you had to spend money on those meds if they aren't going to work. Were you doing steroid cream at all? I know that when I had the hand issues I did steroid cream for a LONG time, like 6 months, then when I came off of it it's almost like a withdrawal and your skin gets worse before it gets better. It's weird, look it up!

Got my court thing today to make me poor-er than I already am. We'll see what happens.

MIL, you HAVE to see a dermatologist. And Repti is right. I was using steroids on my face for almost a year and a half because I thought it was eczema. When it ran out, my face just exploded!! The steroids were keeping it toned down, but my body went into overdrive with the stuff when I had to stop using it. I've been on both Keflex and Clindamycin for 2 weeks, and I am seeing minimal improvement. Well, certain areas of my face are better. It's primarily around my mouth. The dermatologist told me the PCP diagnosed me incorrectly (with a yeast infection), but when those meds didn't work, I had gone back to the steroid cream. I agree - totally embarrassing!! I hate looking like this! You really need to push for dermatology, and an emergency appointment. They will know exactly what it is!!

Terre, I'd push for an appointment too.

Good luck today Repti.

Cybele, glad dh is doing ok.

Amira, I don't watch scary movies at the best of times, let alone by myself.

Had #2's family birthday party yesterday. My dad is always a little embarassing, dh's dad is dramatic and doesn't know his boundaries, and my brother and wife and kids didn't show up, and didn't even call. Now, I really don't mind if they're not there, but....she's always the one that makes a big stink about the fact that she's not close to the family and that she feels left out, but always does this kind of thing. Doesn't seem that confusing to me.

The court thing was a waste of time. They charge you an extra $96 filing fee for you to go and admit you owe the amount. Seriously dumb, but I guess that's how they rake in the extra cash.

I had to call the place and set up a payment plan. we'll see if i can afford to keep it up for the year like I'm supposed to.

I don't like scary movies at all. Especially really bloody murder ones like those stupid movies Rob Zombie made.

I made Jayde an eye appointment and have to pick up papers for the free dental clinic and get Sydney on the waiting list, she lost part of her tooth. It's a good thing that nice teeth are only for rich people.

Let's see if I can remember everything.

MIL demand to see a specialist. That's crazy.

Amira my husband tends to be a hypochondriac, So the fact everything looks fine (This isn't his first one) doesn't surprise me.

I LOVE scary movies, all of my girls do. My boys are wusses lol. Sam and I once scared the tar out of each other when we were the only two home, late at night watching The Hills Have Eye's. Needless to say, neither of us went to the bathroom alone that night lol Oh and I just watched Paranormal Activities new one, The Marked Ones, don't waste your money it was horrible. They had a good premise but it got lost somewhere in the story line.

Repti, just set the payment up small, and pay more as you can.

Family what can you do? haha

The hubby is being extra attentive, maybe cause he went off his med's. I knew he'd come off cause he couldn't see the difference, but I could. But the extra attention is getting on my nerves....poor guy just can't win sometimes lol

Off to teach Kaily who is a little sponge. Then work with Vanna. Her school thing makes everything so complicated. It took me 30 minutes to figure out wth they were talking about only to realize what it was and that it would take me 5 minutes to teach it to her. I can not stand their math program.

Sorry, haven't read back, finally feel like I can function again. I was in the er on Saturday with really bad upper abdominal pain. FIVE hours, and the best they could come up with was it was related to my pregnancy. They actually asked me if it was morning sickness, then insulted me and asked me if I was married and monogamous.

Cybele, glad your dh is okay!

I never, ever watch scary movies!!!

Everyone who is my FB, go on my page, click on our family pic and like it and the photographers page so we can win a family photo session....especially since none of you photographers**cough cough you know who you are** will drive to Detroit and take our pics!! LOL

I would have told them they are here to help me, not to make stupid assumptions UM.
I kinda feel the same way about the syphilis and HIV test every time. Of course they test your blood type each time too, so how more redundant can you get? lol

I agreed on $100 a month for payment with a review after a year. If DH has any pay periods where he makes less than 80 hours it might be hard, especially now that he's making $2 less and spending like $200 a month on gas.

Picked up a bunch of dental packets, now to fill them out and hope we get in within a year.

UM, how are you feeling now? Did you figure out what it was other than "related to pregnancy"?I'm not a good photographer, or you'd be mad that I'm not swinging by Detroit on my way to Grand Rapids on Thurday

sooo.....i went by the dr and demanded that they refer me to a dermatoligsit or at least see me again becuase this is rediculous. after waiting for an hour and half, i got told that a referral will be ordered. (translation: it could be a while). so i marched myself downstairs to the business end of the place, talked to a 25+ year contact there that knows me personally and she will be calling me later today with an emergency appt with a dermatologist. even she agreed that there is something very wrong and its not what i have been told it is.

it was humiliating --- sitting in a row of chairs and every one else in the waiting area sat in other rows away from me!!!!!! wish i could get a photo to you guys on here but i just have a camera on my phone now and my ability to get it posted is not very good and really, the pictures it takes dont do justice to what it looks like in reality. .

I think it is my gall bladder.

MIL, I hope you are able to get an appt with the dermatologist VERY soon, and they can do something to help you!!

Grand Rapids huh? It is supposed to be nice there, never been. I have never been anywhere.

Repti, hope the payments work out.

UM, hope that you get the chance to go somewhere. I know you're going to say you're not holding your breath, but you never know.

I'm going to Ontario tomorow and then drive to Grand Rapids with my mom for my cousins wedding. Cousins mom is my mom's sister that passed away from cancer a few years ago, and though my mom hasn't said so, she wants to be there for my uncle (he's dutch and the bride's family is american, so he'll feel like a bit of an outsider) and I think this is just something she wants to do for her sister. My dad didn't want to go, and mom didn't want to go by herself, and I had travel points for the flight and we're mostly staying with family for the rest of the time. And my mom and I have fun together. My mother in law will be helping take care of things around here, and she is great and very excited about taking care of the kids.....and to baby her son a little bit

I voted, then took Lupans phone when he came over and voted off of his, here in a bit I'll do the same with Vanna and Coltons accounts lol

#5 have fun!!!!!

MIL I hope they figure it out

I posted a picture of my sisters kids (on FB), and realized that I have never met but the first 3. The oldest I babysat all of the time and the other two every blue moon, but other then on the phone I have never met any of hers and she has never met any of my younger ones. It's kinda sad. Of course if she would just send me the baby I'd be a happy camper, but for some reason I can't convince her to lol

That's pretty much it around here.

MIL, I know exactly how you feel. When I went off the steroids, hubby wouldn't even kiss me. I told him it wasn't contagious, but he said it looked like it was. And he's a paramedic so he knows better!! I hope they get you in still this week. I know when my PCP referred me to dermatology, the soonest I could get in was August, and that was a month and a half ago. My midwife was the one who got me the emergency appointment. Like I said, it's looking better, but still not completely back to normal.

UM, I was going to ask you if there was any chance it could be gall bladder? Which side was it on?

Repti, I hope you can make the payment plans work!

I had been looking for a full-time job since I make more money than hubby. I had 2 interviews about 2 weeks ago. The first I heard from right away telling me they didn't want to go forward with a 2nd interview. The 2nd one was supposed to let me know by the end of last week. I didn't hear anything so I figured. Hubby was pressuring me to follow up, though. I called yesterday and left a message. No call or e-mail back. That appears to be my answer, as I suspected. So, today, he told me he thinks I'm getting to the point where I CAN'T get a job. I agree. I told him 2 weeks ago it was getting touchy. Guess we stay poor for at least another 8 months!!

There's no point in getting a job halfway through a pregnancy. Working for four-five months then being off isn't really doing anyone any good.

DH came home the other day and asked if I wanted to make some money. I said it depends on what I'm doing. He says babysitting, and I said no. Not happening. There are already days I have to keep an older kid home from school to be here so that I can go to an appointment, they don't need to babysit someone else's brats too. Plus I don't like other people's kids, and we were talking to the "dad" of these kids (not the dad, boyfriend of the girl) and he said that the older one has extreme violence issues, he doesn't even like the kid. I don't need my kids being beaten on by some little turd. I'd consider it for $20 an hour, they get stuck in a pack & play, or dog cage LOL, the parent comes around meal times to feed the kid, and I don't change diapers. The TV can do the work.

#2 will be 15 in June. She wants an iPhone. We think it's because her friend has one. She can get a free iPhone 4s with a new contract with Verizon, but it is like $60 a month or more. I don't think she should take on that level of monthly debt, but she does have a small part time job lined up.

However, in the research my dh decided it was time for us to upgrade. He got us each a free new iPhone 4s by changing our plan (that the boss pays for) and changed the bill on $17 a month for 3 phones. They came this morning and now I have to hide my new phone lest #2 has a royal fit. I'm not sure how to tell her.

No way in heck fire I would babysit, let alone with those kind of issues.

Who uses the third phone?

Is it only $17 for the extra line now? I think $60 is pretty decent for a phone, but for that (actually less) she can get her own pre-paid through straight talk, just has to buy the phone.

I'm the third phone. My bil has the account, my dh is the second and I'm just a nice bonus his boss gives us. The bill before was $183. Dh had unlimited data and a 6 yo phone. I had a regular phone. He upgraded both phones but had to go to a shared data plan for 6gig. I don't use the data and really just use the phone to talk and text.

She wants an iPhone. We told her to get on the republic wireless bandwagon, but she said she didn't want their kind of phone. So I told her she had to have 6 months of payments saved up because she can't have her own contract as she is only 15. So that is her new goal. But she is going to be mad when she sees my new phone.
