Good morning, ladies!

Amira, sorry you need a filling, hopefully it's not very painful.

MIL--I love big dogs. I understand they appear more threatening, but, in general their energy level is so much lower than a small dog's and they're just big softies. I hope you and the new dog get on well.

Farmer Wife--$120 for 90 minutes of psycho babble? Sign me up too! I hope you guys had a nice night out!

UrbanMomma--I agree, Hunger Games movie wasn't the best (and I totally agree with the rest of you about how the series ends!) But, even a bad movie and ice cream still sounds like a pretty nice night! And it sounds like you earned it with poor Canaan's crying. Do you think it's teeth or just his age? I hope he settles soon.

Mom2Many--My left mouse button is sticky! And it's not my kids, it's the hubby! I told him he's forbidden to eat while using my computer but he does what he wants. I had to actually use a degreaser on my mouse a couple weeks ago. I have no idea what he was doing. Eating ribs? Rubbing it with bacon? It was gross. And sorry about the dryer blowing fuses. Did you have an electrician come out? I know we had to upgrade the outlet and dedicate a new fuse for it when we switched from a single to double oven. I hope you figure it out soon, it sounds annoying and expensive!

I had a follow up ultrasound yesterday. At my gender scan they found "something" in the placenta and sent me to the high risk doctors. I was really hoping to make it through ONE pregnancy without needing the high risk specialists. But this one isn't it. Maybe next time?
They found a tumor in the placenta. It's a non-cancerous vascular bundle called a chorioangioma. It's right where her umbilical cord attaches and it's medium to large in size (they just described it in those terms, I was surprised and didn't ask for the numbers but I will when I talk to my regular OB on Monday. Right now she's growing and very active and the blood flow looks good. But they're concerned. They told me that due to the size and placement and the fact that my fluid levels are already high they are concerned about the baby developing hydrops, which would be pretty serious. They're also concerned about growth restriction. So I go back every 2 weeks now for ultrasounds and maybe NSTs in between, depending on how we're doing. They said this also puts me at increased risk for pre-E, preterm labor and placental abruption in addition to a variety of other more obscure less likely complications. It was definitely a scary appointment.
But they also told me there is nothing I can do to make it better or worse, so I just wait and pray and go to my appointments and be glad to see her more often. Hopefully, this will just be a really long 18 weeks and we won't have to deal with other complications. I have faith this baby is meant to be with us and will come home with us but I feel so helpless and more scared than I'd like to be.

Um has the bidding started? Poor little guy must be miserable.

Jenilope, Fingers crossed that everything turns out okay. I had to have ultrasounds all of the time with Vanna due to a kidney issue. No high risk docs since there was no risk to me, but it was a bit of a pain.

So after fighting with my computer all morning and even saying F it. I have finally gotten it up and running. Thankfully a few weeks ago I had moved everything of importance over to an external hard drive, but we need all the computers for their schooling, but I do realize I need to start looking for another tower.

Jenilope, I will keep you and baby in my thoughts and prayers. It does sound scary.

As soon as someone finds my other shoe and dh comes back with the van I'm going shopping.

Yes, praying for an uneventful 18 weeks. Keep us posted.

Done with funeral. Baking pound cake and French bread for #3's birthday dinner tonight. Having my bff's daughter spend the night as a surprise to my daughter and some friend of hers for dinner. #8 is potty training now. We tried before but I didn't have time to focus. This time it's for real. 1,3,4,5 played dead kids at a cemetery tour today. I was going to be the mom but went to the funeral instead. I am tired.

UM, sorry about the fussy boy. It must be going around. My 4th has been a CRAB!!! She fell asleep around 3 today and still isn't up so I just hope she stays out for the night.

Jenilope, sorry about not getting an uneventful pregnancy. I just hope it stays mostly uneventful for the rest of the pregnancy for you!

As for me, not much new really. We've all adjusted to life with a new baby again, and we just need to work on getting him on a better schedule so he sleeps less during the day and more at night!

ah, new babies and having days and nights mixed up, hope you get some rest.

Jenilope, hoping for an uneventful rest of your pregnancy.

We ripped out the lino today. Lino was easy, the proboard underneath is glued and a real bugger to get out. We're going to call it a day right away. Dh is a better person than me, he has not complained at all. I would have complained. and then some.

Marie..yuck. We've had crappy weather but it's been pretty high winds and rain. I would hate snow this late into the year.

My house is SOOOOOO quite. The little ones stayed the night at the MIL's house, all but Cole. I figured Kailyn would want to come home, cause she normally does, but I didn't even get a phone call from her.

Megan got up early this morning, to early so I knew something was up. I asked her what and she had instant tears, turns out she made her Boyfriend cry last night and she felt bad. He takes everything she says and does to personally. His sister is leaving for her mission, yesterday they had her going away party, which she went to. Today I guess is her going away speech, up at the church. He asked if she was going, but she hadn't thought about it so didn't ask me (in case I had plans), so she said no. Well to him that meant she didn't care about his family. I told her to get ready and go, but not to tell him she was going. She's there now. Sometimes I want to hit that boy upside the head, instead of seeing that she was being thoughtful of her family he takes the leap to her not liking his family. Which she does as far as I know. Hopefully he'll eat a little crow now...

Wow, it does seem like he take things too personally!

I could not handle six months of snow!

Busy day today...Took a road trip to drop Boone off at the rescue that is going to take over his adoption process. Came home a dh decided that he was going to to buy my brother's car...we all worked to together to clean my niece's things out. Then my brother decided he wanted my dh's commuter car, so we had to clean it out. Now we gearing up for a small celebration of Milly's 2nd birthday. I CANNOT BELIEVE SHE IS TWO!!

Nothing grand going on here. #3 turned 12 yesterday. I measure them on the inside of he closet. She is almost as tall and taller than 1&2 when they turned 13. She grew a lot this year. In the last 14 days we had 3 birthdays and Easter. Done until June now. May if you count the dh. We have one each month (2 in April) except jan and dec if you include me and the dh. Which I do. It rained all day here. I wanted to finish getting stuff out of the other house but it was just too yuck.

Happy 2nd Birthday to her!!!

I have birthdays every month except July and November. I really wanted this baby to be born in July, but I know with a July 30th edd, I will make it well into August.

Dh bought a dvd burner and he is driving me crazy. No one can get near the computer now, good thing we do have the laptop.

Was going to go to the hospital for the L&D tour, but my darling Canaan felt like 1-5 was a good time to hang out, so now I am exhausted and have a headache. I still had to get up at 6:30 and he slept til 9:15. He and I are not very good friends right now.

I was having a nice leisurely morning. Then #5 came in and asked what happened to the paint? Hmmm? So I got out and a gallon of bright pink paint was spilled on the front porch! Everyone is partially at fault, so I am not mad at anyone in particular, but let this be a lesson to you: follow up when someone is working on a paint project, don't let someone else stack paint cans to keep dogs from scratching at your windows at night, train your dogs to not scratch at the windows at night, finish projects you start.

early to bed last night and up early this morning. gonna be a busy day for me. trying not to worry about being gone for long stretches of time -- but i refuse to let some hooligan steal my joy and my peace. my poor doggie is still quite high strung since the break in of friday. SHE gets nervous when i leave.

Oh wow! Pink, huh? I'm not sure if I'd laugh or cry. Probably both!

MIL, it would take me quite a while to feel safe after a break in.

My niece is so mad about the car that she deleted me and my friends from fb, lol! Oh well, hopefully it will teach her a lesson and we were able to help my brother out of a tight spot so I'm not going to dwell on it.
