well gals -- one melatonin and one muscle relaxer later....i actually got to sleep last night. its amazing what sleep can do for your attitude!!! now if i could have a single morning where the joints in my hands and feet didnt hurt so badly, ahhh perfection!

well FIOS just arrived and i am about to get tv in my sewing room. that is such a blessing as i am isolated from the rest of the house and cannot hear anything when i am up there....

school starts tomorrow. you know, i wasn't looking forward to it until yesterday.

oh and i came up with a plan that you all have had to deal with for years. when my DD moves out, i am going to take that big bedroom/bathroom and make it into a total grandkids room. two sets of bunk beds, a dresser and toy cupboard. its all going to be contained in one room!!!! now to get her moving along sooner rather than later.....

40 year class reunion is saturday. hope someone shows up besides us.

My baby turned 1 on Friday! We had a cake and pizza with the grandparents, and it was nice. She's on the verge of walking, says a few words, eats everything and is absolutely delightful!

Here she is on her birthday:

UM, your baby's birthday is just a few days away now, right?

Yes, she is 1 tomorrow. She is walking, can say a few words, mostly mama and dada, ohh and bye bye. She is a clingy all the time, and wants lots of attention!

Happy 1st day to Cecily!

I don't have anything nice to say so I'm keeping quiet. It's not been a good couple of weeks in my house, and mama is ready to crack!!

Uh-oh 1/2.....?

Terre find someone with marijuana, put it in some rubbing alcohol and let sit for a few weeks, when your hands hurt rub some one. My grandma's friend would make it for her and my grandma swore by it. Just a thought lol

My TV died yesterday, just wouldn't turn on, it'll click like it wants to but that is it. It's an easy fix if I could find a tv repair man, which of course I can't. Wasn't a big deal we could watch on the computers, but my internet is down to less than dial up speeds, so they are coming out today. I think it might be because of a branch that fell a few weeks ago. I am having withdraws lol

Numbers 3 and 7 had birthdays this week, they are 22 and 8. Time sure does fly!

If I rubbed rubbing alcohol on my hands the skin would all fall off, no matter what is in it lol

I think I need some marijuana for my tooth pain.

I know exactly what you mean about that Repti, mine would do the same.

I think I just might be home all day today.

When does school start for everyone? We've got a few weeks left of summer holidays, but I think I'm going to be ok with the return of routine.

Nothing serious. Just a lot of "small" things one right after the other, and I'm losing patience and sanity. I keep telling myself the next week will be better. I'm still waiting....

School starts for my oldest (Kindergarten) on Wednesday, so we're just about there and she's so ready!
My preschoolers don't go until the middle of September.

Repti--sorry about the toothache, I hope it's better today!Half Dozen, I hope the little things have sorted themselves and you're feeling better, too!

I'm crabby today. A month ago I shut my thumb in my car door. It was improving but never stopped being swollen. Last week really vile brown pus started coming out of it and it smells so gross. Dr. gave me some HUGE antibiotics for it and DH told me to quit complaining about the smell because that's annoying and it doesn't smell THAT BAD. As if that makes it better. Anyway, the Rx didn't work, called in a new one today, but, I don't know if I can take it or not because I found out that I was so bothered by the smell (and poor DH) because...

I'M PREGNANT AGAIN!!!

I'm super excited, but it would also have been nice of my Dr. to call back about whether or not the new med, Suprax is safe.

So, that's my big news (and buried lead, sorry, lol) Due April 23. So, still SUPER early, any prayers for a sticky healthy bean would be appreciated!

Congratulations!
We're going to have to make a list with everyone whose pregnant at the moment and when they're due, the list is getting long.

Went with my husband and younger three to Ikea. Sasha is still sleeping in a toddler bed, we didn't intend for him to have it this long, he turns 7 in November, it's just that it was a pretty decent size for a toddler bed, he's shorter than average for his age and we just never got around to buying a proper bed for him, and now it's becoming a tight fit.
We got one with drawers under the bed for extra storage, he can fit inside the drawers so that's probably not a great thing.

When #1 leaves on Thursday, 7 gets to move into her bed. I got her a new bed spread for the occasion. She is carrying it around in the bag thing. She can't wait.

I was fine with 1 leaving til my friend sent a blog post about the son leaving and how the mom wished she could go back and start over, more love, more laughs, less Latin, less frowns. Then I got all upset.

Had to take the little car for brakes, tire, and oil change before I drive to Orlando. Not what I planned to do this week. Maybe I will win big on the price is right!
