I love the bowling ball between your legs feeling.

I want to go to the zoo.

Its so nice today but I'm just not feeling doing anything with the kids. They walked to the school park twice, I made them a picnic lunch for outside in the backyard.

My Spanish girl asked if I would take her to the mall with her friend. I said yes. I am nice. Now I am sitting in the tire store because of a piece of metal in the tire, again. And I just looked up and saw a friend from college. She doesn't even know I am here yet. Talk to you later!

It's nice to see you, Tere! Always good to put a face with a name.

Jen, sounds like baby's dropping, I know you've said since the beginning that you expect to go late, are you still thinking she'll be late, or are you feeling she's making more progress? Have you made up your mind about her name?

FW, how did your spanish girl like the mall? Is she just here for the summer, or for a full year?

I've had a productive day. All the onesies, pjs, diapers, blankets, burp cloths, changing pads and a few sheets are up in my room and put away (not necessarily pretty, just in a big plastic tub, but it'll do!) I washed the cover for my nursing pillow and sprayed the pillow foam down and let it sun dry so it's all fresh. The pack n play and all the bassinet pieces are up there for me to put together tonight while the girls take their shower. I even wiped down the carseat (DH traditionally doesn't install that until I'm already at the hospital.)

All that's left is to see if the sunning worked for treating a few stains I found in the baby clothes and pick up some postpartum recovery supplies at the pharmacy. And wait for her to be ready, of course. My goal was to be done with all that stuff by the time I hit 37 weeks, which will be Monday, so I think I'll achieve that!

I still think she will be late. My babies are always late. I think she is just enjoying making me uncomfortable. She is going to be Evaani Josephine, she has to be, she has been since like 15 weeks, all the kids call her that.

Jen, you sound so much more prepared than me. LOL. I have nothing done. Her bed isn't even together yet.

I love that name.

Schnikes! Remember me telling you about my dads ex girlfriend that we called crazy deb? And how I couldn't remember her last name or her girls and it bothered me? And the next morning I remembered and found the one girl on fb but couldn't message her? And how I sent my sister to find more info? Well, my sister did send a message and she replied! She said crazy deb got in a fight with her boyfriend in Vermont in 2005 and was found in a culvert the next day. Unbelievable!! Mil, can you use your genealogy skills to find more info? Her name was Debbie or Debra bolena. I can't find any online newspaper articles. Totally shocked here.

Well, no one deserves to be found in a culvert, not even a crazy Deb. Sad.

No, not at all. And a weird twist is the daughter said she was found with bruises on her arms like she had been held down. The daughter said that the boyfriend was not investigated and when I found the obit this morning, the boyfriend was in it is "loving companion". Bt the daughter made it sound like the loving companion killed her. I thought maybe in Vermont they fought, she was drunk, and passed out in the snow, but it was may. I don't think they have snow that late even there?

She was crazy. My dad knocked her around a couple times. I am not excusing his behavior, but I understand it. She was flipping all the way out, screaming, hitting him, breaking glass and things in her rage, so he smacked her. She called the police, he was arrested. Another time we went to a restaurant. On the way there she and my sister got into a shouting match. Continued they whole time we were being seated and finally she spit at my sister! In the face! My sister was 15 or so at the time and she hauled off and round housed her and punched her in the face! My friend and I dragged my sister to the bathroom, my dad dragged crazy deb to the car. We went home. Debbie was maybe 30 at the time. She was 44 when she died in 2005. I was 34. Shoot, if my sister was 15, I was 19, Debbie would have been 29.

This my friends, is what drunk, crazy, divorces, chasing strange goofy fathers gets you.

I forgot to share..

Yesterday Cole asked me (he just turned 12) why his voice keeps getting high pitched cause it's irritating. I told him he's about to get his 'man' voice to match his little mustache that is coming in lol Dang where does the time go?

But even stranger to me is my dads reaction. My sister sent us both the email exchange between her and the daughter outlining the events. My sister and I were shocked, just shocked speechless. My dad was all "I'm not surprised at her death/murder." ***? How can you not be surprised at someone's murder?
