FW, you homeschool, right? Have you looked into the Disney Home School Days discount? It might help! Disney Homeschool Days | Education | Disney Youth Programs

UM, I'm sorry your older son has been having issues but I'm glad that Elijaah is enjoying it!

wow - its been a busy day. got up and left at 8:30 to take wyatt and his friend to VBS across town. then stopped by and got two more grandsons and brought them to my house for a visit. niece came over with her hubby and newest baby and hung out for a while. then got the boys back in the car to return them to their house just in time to pick up the first two at VBS. came home and made lunch and cleaned it up. another friend showed up to pick up some items that I was unloading. we visited for a while. then I finally sat down and put my feet up in the recliner when the little friend's momma called and came over to collect him. just getting comfy again when the phone rings. it is my bff in Baltimore. after about two years of hanging on, her father passed away this afternoon. she is a mess. they do things very differently where she lives (Baltimore) -- 2 days of viewing and then funeral mass on the 3rd day, followed by burial I suppose. wyatt is hyper and can't give me a moments peace so I have called my daughter to pick him up. probably about the time she shows up, it will be time to go meet DH for dinner. I guarantee you that I am going to bed early, taking a muscle relaxer so I can get some sleep and then I am sleeping late in the morning.

tomorrow afternoon, I have to drive to Los Angeles International airport to pick up my son who is flying home from his semester in England. it will be rush hour on the freeways so I don't expect to get home until about 7:30pm. I dread it!!!!! (the traffic, not getting my son).

Crap! I keep forgetting about VBS! Missed it again tonight.

Got side tracked because the Momma whose maternity portraits I just took text me to let me know her water broke!! It was only last Sunday that we took them! I'm so excited because this little boy will be my first newborn shoot. I hope I rock it!

You will do great!

I bought 2 new outfits today. Well, four if you mix and match. Looking forward to my trip the dh still doesn't know I am going on without him. Now I want to take #3&7, but will likely refuse to allow that as I am planning on staying at my sisters.

I'll have to read back one of these days and catch up on everything.

I'm back, 3000 miles later, we had a fantastic time. We went down to the redwoods and worked our way up the oregon coast: awesome. had a great time with dh's brother and family. Just an all round awesome trip, the kind I've always dreamt of having. Now we're all thrilled to be home, and I'm hoping not to see too many people the next few days. I have a ton of laundry, tons of weeds, and a few annoying (to say the least) revenue canada things to deal with (welcome home).

Hope everyone is doing well.

5in5 welcome back

We are heading out this weekend for dh's 25 year high school reunion. We are taking the dc because there is a fair going on and his brother and sil will be able to watch them while dh and I go out. Speaking of clothes...what should I wear? It was suggested that ladies would be wearing sundresses or capris. I don't think I have anything appropriate.

I would dress casually comfortable and not worry about it! enjoy yourself. I have my 40th next year!!!!! I hope there will be a gathering -- I have learned a lot since the 30th, mostly about being myself and not worrying about how the rest will react to how I look {about 70 pounds different that I used to look : ( }.

Went to CVS today. Younger woman running the register says
"OMG....you haven't had the baby yet?"
Me-"Uhhhh, no"
"Wow, you are so huge, I hope they take her soon."
Me-"Who is they? And where would they be taking her?"

She didn't know what to say after that.

I think I am overly grumpy and just a bit confrontational now......

Hahaha! I miss saying stuff like that!

Getting caught up on laundry and packing for my quick trip. I am going to take them for a tour of my old neighborhood. I grew up in the slums of casselberry. So I said I was going to show them my old house. #3 says, oh it's not pappys house? Hahaha! He left us to go make a fortune and now he lives in a mcmansion. No, I did not grow up there.

MIL, hope you are enjoying some time with your son!

UM, that made me lol!

FW, I grew up in a semi-middle class area, semi, now though....it's not.

We had some serious winds blow through and it knocked down half of my tomato plants I'm hoping I got to them soon enough

She says she doesn't understand. I said she won't til she gets married and starts doing it so not to worry about it.

I have a sick little guy here today, not too sure where he caught what he got, but bad cough! Hoping against the odds that it doesn't work its way through the house. On another note my entire yard is filled with pails of bog water and frogs... my daughter thought that she should do our duty as nature lovers and save them, as they are filling in the swamp next to our park. Now what to do with 1000 little hoppers....there is seriously not enough hours in a day, lol!
