When I was couponing I spent less but I've gotten too lazy to coupon. We usually spend close to $200 a week on groceries. We have five kids so I don't think that's too bad but we do spend a lot of money on food!
We grow a lot of our own fruits and veggies so that really helps.
$40 on a pick and pack fruit/veg box for the things we can't grow
Then about $100 on other items. We buy a lot of local things which keeps the prices down.
I would say right now, about $300 or less thats just for food no toiletries and household things. I think we would spend less if we didnt buy local organic and special slaughtered meat like lamb and goat ect and chicken though.
My 3 older kids dont live at home 2 live of them have their own home, so this is really only for 7 of us! 5 kids and DH and I.
Yup, we're in the same range, typically $350 every 2 weeks, about another $75 every 2 weeks on toiletries. Baby boy isn't due until January and the next youngest is 5, the other 4 kidos are all boys so that number will change once we add in diapers and AF supplies...
Our family is 2 adults and 5 kids, one on the way, and only 6little fish as far as pets go:-) all of our kidos are with us all the time, the other parent for the kidos with a dad or mom outside of us is not around so this is 7days/week, fulltime kidos and adults wouldn't have it any other way(not that there is a choice)!!
