Its time for mine again, I always write a letter overseas and send a photo card. Every year I don't know how to start the letter, I write it in dutch, which I totally can do, but it does take some effort. The only reason I really do it is for my Oma and dh's Oma, they just LOVE getting a letter, and since we don't visit them or anything I feel it's the least I can do.

What about you? I wouldn't write my own english Christmas letter, but I really like reading other people's letters!

We don't celebrate Christmas so no, technically.
We do a 'family day' on December 25th instead and we give each other letters about why we are thankful to have each other, so in a way we do cards and letters.

Yes! I do cards and a letter. Only the people/family I don't see often get a letter.

I lied. I don't love other people's letters. I like every letter I get except for one, it's just one giant bragfest. Just got said letter. I don't know why I read it.
ZZ0607 and HalfDozen like this.

I usually send a card with a picture of the kids. This year MIL is asking for one with me and DH in it, which might be difficult.

^You're supposed to get thank yous for Christmas cards? I haven't heard of that before. Maybe other people haven't, either.

We don't do cards/letters. I never started them so now there's no expectation. I do like getting cute cards, but I refuse to do them myself!

We do a family picture card and a letter. Our letter was 3 pages, it wasn't meant to brag, just share what went on in our life this year
