Thought I'd introduce myself here as well.

I'm Tracy, mom to eight and our ninth due Oct 31st, but I'm calling it Nov 1 so I don't obsess the whole month of October.

I have:
Dd16
Ds14
Ds12
Dd10
Dd8
Dd6
Dd4
Dd2

Some of those are rounded up as we are in the midst of birthday season right now with my girlies. All five youngest were born in April/may. Looking forward to having this new one in a different season for a change!

We have homeschooled all along. My husband is self employed, a CPA , and works from home. We live in NH.

Looking forward to getting to know some other large families here.

I am Jen, I have 11, and #12 is edd Oct 31 as well. I also claimed the month of November, I am a 42 weeker, so maybe baby will be here by our wedding anniversary 11/12.

I work p/t loading trucks.

My boys are
19, 17, 15, 12, 6, 5, 2
My girls are
11, 8, 3 and 8 months.

My dh also works from home, he is a barber and we are in the process of converting our garage into his shop because he is TOOOOO busy to keep cutting in our back room.

I don't usually homeschool, but I am homeschooling my 8 yo dd right now. The school wasn't working out for her. The rest go to school.

My oldest is moved out on his own, engaged and I will be a grandma in June.

This is a fun group of ladies.

Isn't it funny to say and think *only* when you say the number of children you have? I find that, most often, we're dropping jaws, but I just love being in the midst of big families that make me feel *only-ish*.

My oldest was born on October 8, so it's kind of sweet to be returning to that month again. When I'm not induced, I'll go over my edd every time, so I'm good on planning for early November.

Welcome! I have 5 (4 girls - 17, 13, 12, & 2 and 1 boy - 1) with my #6 on the way, due 10-23. Just out of curiosity, what general area of NH do you live in? I'm there also. We don't homeschool. I figure it's too late for my oldest 3, but might consider it with the younger ones. And I'd love to be working at home since I'm the higher earner, but instead, I'm out looking for a full-time job right now.

Welcome here. I have one of the smaller families here, 5 girls, they range in ages 8-16. I don't homeschool, our kids go to small private Christian school, up to Grade 9 anyways.

Hi, I am new here as well. I'm 41 and have 4 children, ages 8, 5, 3 and 8 mo. We live in eastern PA, my husband works outside of home and I stay at home and homeschool. Before I married 14 years ago, I worked as a teacher and a translator. In my free time I make realistic baby dolls or do small sewing projects.

Hello Roxolana and Partyofeleven,
I have one of the 'smaller' families on here (feels so weird to say that) I have 5, ages 19, 17, 14, 12 and 6, plus we have a n extra two living with us, DD19's partner who is 20 and DS17's friend, who is also 17 (he doesn't 'officially' live with us, but he's here up to 6 nights a week). As my mother calls it, "What are you doing now? Too old to have your own so you're just going around collecting stray children?".
All of mine are in public school.

Hi Welcome!! And congrats on the upcoming #9!

I think I may need to check out the homeschooling section, and get some tips from you ladies! Due to circumstances out of our control, we are having to leave our haven in the country, and move to the city. For the time being, I plan on commuting to the school out here (but that's almost 2 hours of driving per day), and have no desire to put the in the city schools. I was home schooled through 8th.

Hi, I am Sonja. I post in here about once a month or so.I have 10 children with baby girl # 11 due this October 2014.
I am 42 and also have 4 grandchildren. Dh and I had our fist two children when I was 16 and 17. So my oldest should not be 26. LOL
We are homeschoolers and have been for many years. My oldest 2 children are married with babies of their own.We live in the country. We have lived for years on a horse/sheep farm but we sold that property to relocate to another area and are looking for another piece of land to start our homesteading again.
