Yes I went apple picking with Thayers class on a field trip, Ihaven't baked anything with them yet but the kiddos have been at me too I think I might just make apple crisp its pretty easy.

I have a huge bag of cooking apple windfalls sitting in the kitchen that I haven't done anything with yet - don't mind the cooking and baking, just really dislike the peeling and coring.

In all probability it will be apple crumble though (with cinnamon and brown sugar in the topping - yum!) One of the country parks near us is holding an 'apple pressing day' soon, where the kids can take their own apples and a bottle along and get them pressed into apple juice - so we may visit there too.
