I'm soooo bummed ...we just couldn't afford pumpkins this year!! Can I sumbit pics of last years?? ROFL

(check where they sell them if they have any halloween day sometimes they stick up a free sign )

Here are some of mine, I have 8 more to carve tomorrow. Despite a stern talking to, they didn't ripen in time - but oh well, I grew them all by my dorky little self.

Wow Shawna..those are freaking awesome ... Im thinking of growing pumpkins next year so I guess I will be dorky too

I had a vine but not pumpkins not even a tiny one When do you plant them?

My first year I didn't get any either, I think I neglected them. Around here you can't plant until May Long weekend, or after - so I usually wait till then. As you can see, they didn't turn orange in time so I think I'll start them indoors first next year.

I really have no clue about gardening...I just plant things and see what happens. LOL

lol we are staring ours in egg cartons so maybe we will get a pumpkin or 2
