When we sent out birth announcements to our family and friends, only one person from MIL's side responded (her 7 siblings that all live in another state)

The response we got was an email and it went exactly like this

"Thanks for the pictures. You sure are doing your part to populate the earth."

That is it. An email with those two sentences. Not even a congratulations for me to print off and put in her baby book. He didn't even sign it.

Like I said, that was with our 4th. I have never sent another birth announcement out that way and I really don't care what they think of us now. LOL!

I get a little tired of hearing "You do know how that happens right?" when people find out I'm pregnant!

'Oh for God's sake what's the matter with you? Can't you get one you like?'

Mutter mutter mutter - that was when I was expecting my fifth, from the husband of a school mum, and it still makes me want to roast his attributes over an open fire and feed 'em to the neighbour's dog (Not that I bear grudges or anything lol!)

luv Rodena xxx
(Although my parents run a close second for saying 'What the hell do you need a tenth baby for?' Thay haven't spoken to me since...or acknowledged the baby )

(((hugs))) I am sorry about your parents. My mother tends to say similar things. When I was pg with #4, she got mad and asked if I was trying to one up her (she raised 3). She yelled and screamed that DH had better get "fixed", blah, blah, blah. I lost that baby and I often wonder how she feels about that. But, with each one after, she has basically said, "Oh, no. Not again???" Just wanted to give you a (((hug))) and tell you that I think your #10 is FABULOUS!
