Oh I KNOW!!! The other day I had a sandwich and then I got a phone call so I walked away from the sandwich and when I came back, it was GONE!! My four year old stole it and then didn't even eat it all!
Luckily I don't get too much of that. My youngest is too picky, won't even eat his own food much less ask for mine And the older ones know where the kitchen is...although 9 times out of 10 we are all having the same thing.
nope! and that is why when I REALLY want something to myself I save it for after they are in bed.. lol ... my mom (she had 6 kids) used to sneak off to the bathroon with her special snacks or take them with her when whe went for her hour long baths! lol

I get this too, but it doesn't bother me because I have created the habit intentionally. It's amazing what a child "hates" until it's on Mommy or Daddy's plate. It's a good way to get my kids to eat stuff they normally won't eat. I just put extra on my plate and that way I get "mine" and they get "theirs". But it's not an every day thing, just when I have something on my plate that they claim they don't like.
