Wondering what everyone here drives. It occurred to me that if we have any more kids we need a new vehicle. We have a Chevy Venture minivan and it only seats 7. So what does everyone drive and how many people can you fit in it?

We have a 2002 Ford Windstar, it only seats seven. But it works for us since we are a family of six When the kids get older (ie, bigger) we're looking at a Tahoe or Suburban...

My SIL has a Suburban...the thing is so huge they call it the school bus when they drive it around! Theirs can hold 7, but I swear that when they got it, they said that there was an option to have more seating. Might check it out. The thing can hold a ton!

I drove a Suburban once and they are great. I felt the safest I ever felt in that boat. LOL.

we have a cevy venture extended mini van too. and it only seats 7 but we are purchasing the extra seat for the middle row this spring and so then it will seat 8. if and when we go over that limit I have no idea what we'd buy.

This past weekend, we just bought a 2005 Black Suburban. I love it!!! lol.. the whole 2 times I've driven it. We were driving a conversion van, but it was on it's last leg.

We rented a mini-van when we went on vacation last year. It was the grand kind, but the kids were soooo smooshed!!! A car seat and 4 teenagers..it wasn't pretty. I am glad we did that tho, because when it came time to look for a new car, we knew a minivan wouldnt' work for us. Besides the black beast is 4WD, and we need that.

We have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. It seats 7, and our family has 6. I like it because it has the built in childseats in the center seat, so we can leave the carseats for the 2 little ones in dh's car (Honda Accord). The kids love the tv/vcr feature and I have to admit, it's been quite handy to have on trips. I considered buying an SUV, but I didn't feel like paying the higher insurance and gas prices.
