'Cos, you know, BBW pregnant ladies have terrible diets! *giggles*
I've ate a lot of carbs this time around - pasta and such.
I drink tons of water and caffeine-free diet soda.
Also I've craved spicy food throughout this pregnancy which ends up biting me in the butt because my poor stomach can't take it and I end up throwing up because of heartburn.
I try to keep sweets to a min... which means once or twice a day
And I have the tendency of scarfing down a whole bag of chips... but I eat little after that so I'm not sure if that's such a bad thing!
To be honest I try to eat as healthy as I can - we're on a very tight budget and we can't afford meat and fresh vegetables and fruit every day. A box of pasta costs a dollar. Steak, unless it was green and had things growing on it, is not a dollar. So, you know, I buy what we can afford for that week.
How about you mamas? What are you eating?!

I haven't had my glucose test yet but I'm dreading GD. I'm at risk for it, of course, but I did not get it while I was pregnant with my daughter so I'm crossing my fingers all goes well this time around.
Just a few more months to go, mama! Then you can eat all you want plus have a little baby

I try to eat as healthy as I can and try to follow my same gastric bypass diet of high protien and include more fruit and yogurt. But, sometimes, like just now, I had to have a few cookies. I was craving vanilla cookies and they hit the spot !

I am trying to eat healthy, but it seems like I am hungry all the time, and I want pizza for the most part but then it makes me miserable, however I can't really stand soda so I am drinking allot of water.

I crave sugar like you would not believe - which I am not a sugar lover by any means! I hardly ever eat ice cream but thats really all I have wanted. Things I love (alfredo pasta, chicken, polksa kielsbasa, etc) i cant eat. DH said to me "Youre pregnant" lol....i want to tell him!

I really loved my applesauce I had today though!!

I don't think I've ever eaten as much fruit and vegetables in life than I have in this pregnancy. I try to stay away from too much sugar. I drink water more than anything else. I do not drink any caffeine, eat as little food coloring as possible (those darn Christmas sugar cookies have it in them, though and so do about ninety percent of the foods out there). I have eaten more cookies and cakie-type foods than I'd like to, though. I do not generally prefer sweets, but have gotten cookie type snacks instead of chips (my preferred food) because almost every type of chip that I would like that doesn't give me heartburn has at least one type of food coloring in it...
