This is the first month that I've been actively keeping track of my cycle using MyMonthlyCycles for the purpose of TTC.

Today's my first day that it says I'm "fertile." It estimates I will OV on Monday so today is the first day it says I'm fertile. I had planned on trying to DTD the first day to try and at least get some swimmers in there and then of course at least one more time during my "fertile" time. But then again, it's just estimating this based on numbers, not actual fertility tracking.

But I just don't feel like it. I mean I know I still have a couple more days to get some swimmers, and really I don't even know for certain if I am due to OV since I haven't been BBT or anything. And I won't be able to start using my fertility monitor until AF comes.

I'm sure that I'll feel more like it another day, but I almost don't even know if I should be aiming to try and do anything the next couple of days 'cause I don't even know for certain. You know?

Anyway, sorry to rant.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too.. Trying to do it like every other day. I need to do some reading about CM 'cause I should probably check that and I can never remember anything other than "egg white" and that's the "good" kind.

But anyway, I told DH that if we were going to try this month that this weekend was a good time to be working on it. So... we'll see what we can manage.

Speaking of BD/DTD, I hope this doesn't get too graphic... But DH doesn't really like anything other than me on top. I've read that isn't a recommended position for TTC. And he tried for a long time to be on top, but he got worn out and wasn't able to finish. I hope it doesn't hinder us too much by him not being able to finish on top.

But I was careful to lay in bed afterwards. So we'll see! *fingers crossed*

I can ease your mind a little on this worry girl, as long as your dh's spermie are good swimmers you can still get preggo on top, my dh is most of the time exausted so I often am on top also, and my last pregnancy I was the one on top (i miscarried, but still I got preggo that way) so keep ttc'ing and good luck.

Thanks Vicki. I've been worried about that. I don't know what DH's sperm quality is, but here's hoping!

When my dh had his, his was really good, I would read up on natural ways to increase count/motility, we are going to start taking maca root, it is said to improve fertility in men and women.

heh I can't even get him to take a regular daily vitamin let alone specialized herbs or anything. And he does the cooking so I couldn't "sneak" anything in cooking-wise either.

I guess we'll see. If it's going on several months and we don't get a BFP, then we'll take the next step and see who or what the problem is.

My dh is stubborn like that most of the time also, unless I cry, but try to be as relaxed as possible, unfortunately the old saying relax and it will happen seems to be true for me, every time I have gotten a bfp is when I had pretty much gave up, I guess stress throws off your hormones.
