Diagnosis for PCOS. The ultrasound is just checking to make sure my ovaries and everything look OK.

I'm taking Metformin and prometrium now.

My period came on its own this past Friday after 74 days.

Really I guess that's about it.

Wow gal, that's great that they are doing an ultrasound, sounds like your new doc really knows what she's doing, I had that done several years ago and had a ton of tiny follicles and none that matured, that's basically one the ways they diagnosed me with pcos, keep us posted.

She said that the ultrasound definitely showed that I have polycystic ovaries. She said basically what you said, Vicki. She saw several follicles that hadn't matured.

She advised me to just continue what we had discussed last time. Taking the metformin and even bumping it up to twice a day instead of just once, and continuing with the prometrium. And we'll follow up in 3 months.

I've already started using my fertility monitor so maybe we'll get something sooner, or maybe not.

The metformin really helps me, I am still taking it even though I am on a ttc break, to control the other symptoms of pcos.
