So, first of all im new to posting but i have been down right addicted to this site since i got a faint positive last month (it resulted in a chemical pregnancy). I am right back to trying and as far as i know dont have any medical problems other than extra weight. this month my husband talked me into a ovulation kit. my stupid question is how long is an LH surge? i have had 3 days of "positive" tests. like i said its my first time using them.
Usually once the LH peaks the test gets extremely dark and then progressively lighter, sorry i am not allot of help on this, I have pcos so ovulation test never work for me as they are pretty much always positive because i always have elevated lh in my system, sorry I could not be more help, but welcome to our board, I am Vicki (29) married to Harlan (31) and we have one son caleb (3) and another lil one on the way due in december.
sorry to hear about the Chemical pregnancy, those are awful and very emotionally difficult, these girls are an awesome support group, and there is another girl who is using an ovulation kit, so she may know a better answer to your question.
Welcome! I'm Annaka (25) DH is Rob (28) and we are TTC our first.
My understanding is that the LH surge is only supposed to be a couple of hours. But I, like Vicki, have PCOS so ovulation kits and whatnot don't really work for me. I have been using a Clear Blue fertility monitor, but almost all of the time it says that I have "high fertility."
