I have Fibromyalgia and this pregnancy is starting to take a toll on my neck and shoulders. And my hips are starting to hurt again and they haven't hurt in probably a year. It use to be controlled fairly well with muscle relaxer at night and Vicodin when I needed it (I took sparingly). Now I can't take anything but Tylenol. Not cool...

Just wondering if anyone is in a similar situation.

I am sorry that you're in so much pain I don't have fibromyalgia and I didn't experience this, but I just wanted to say that I was sorry. Would a massage from your SO help at all? I remember my back hurting a lot and I would always beg DH to rub it. Perhaps try talking to your dr/midwife about something that you could take? I hope you feel better!

For me anything that hurts is hurting cause we are getting towards the end of the pregnancy. But I have been pretty lucky and its all been typical aches and pains.

I would agree with Amber about seeing if your ob can do anything for you.

Sorry you are going through this, not pregnant and never experienced those. But I would also agree, talk with your OB

Thanks for the advice. I really think that I'm going to have to go to a chiropractor and/or massage therapist. I don't want to take any more meds than I have to. Just using Tylenol for the pain.

Hi there,
Sorry you are going through this too. *hugs*

I also have fibro and it's flared up considerably now that I am in my 3rd trimester. Not being able to take anything but tylenol SUCKS b/c it doesn't do a thing for me.

Did you end up going to a massage therapist or chiro? I need to do something soon because I am not sleeping well and am in constant pain.

I spoke to my doctor and she suggested I try swimming and/or yoga. She also said that taking a warm bath may help but that hasn't done much for me.
