Cook 1 c barley w/6c water for 50 mins, or until desired texture.
Drain off all excess water. Add 1 can White Kidney Beans (I added unsalted from a can), also called Canneloi (sp?) beans. Add 1 T Brewers/Nutritional Yeast, 2-4 T Really good Extra Virgin, Cold Pressed, Fresh, Olive Oil. Shake on, to taste, Dried Oregano, Basil, Chives, white pepper, black pepper, salt, red pepper and Fennel Seed, 2 pressed cloves of garlic. Stir and warm to desired temperature. Serve. This is great with a salad.
