I was a member of this board a long time ago...but I thought I'd re-introduce myself and visit more often since I am the only vegetarian in my playroom group.
My name is Georgina--and I have one daughter-Indiana age 2.
I have been a vegetarian since I was 18 which is almost 10 years ago ()
I eat eggs and dairy but NO meat at all including fish.
I asked my mom when I was a child if I could be a vegetarian after going to a farm. She said as long as I was under her roof I had to eat what she served me. We ate a lot of meat growing up.
That being said, my DH eats meat, and we decided that our daughter would eat meat. Because I'm a vegetarian, whenever I cook, she gets a lot of soy and tofu. I will let her become a vegetarian if she chooses at whatever age.
