do you cook these? what do you do with them? have a favorite recipe to share?
I will say that i rarely buy them because they are too expensive for my frugal ways most of the time. LOL. I also shy away from them because most of the recipes seem to be butter or oil filled, totally yummy, but i watch my calories and try to avoid really fattening recipes. I do like some artichoke spinach dip, but just used canned/jarred artichoke hearts!
Can't wait to see other peoples responses, I think I am going to make some artichoke hummus with my artichoke. I have never bought one before but they were $2.49 at our local market so I decided to give it a try.

they are yummy, but to make them, very labor intensive, and to eat them, just as labor intensive. To use canned artichoke hearts (i think in a jar more often than can....) is easier, but obviously not as fresh. Spinach artichoke dip is the best! I always made that with jarred hearts. I have had Sabra hummus' artichoke hummus and it is really delicious.
