That does look yummy!

I bought the cookbook at Costco today, there isn't one thing I wouldn't make.

I promise its worth it! Most of the recipes are online but the stories and pics are too funny.
We made the peanut butter blondies tonight and I'm pretty sure there won't be any by tomorrow night

I am making the spanish quinoa for dinner, i already made the carrot cake and it was very good. I am on the fence of liking this cookbook. There is wayyyyy too much of her kids in it, i find it really distracting and the layout (paperback) is really disjointed with the recipe on a separate page from the title of the recipe. We'll see. It is cheap, on amazon, so i may just buy it.

i may try the lentil meatballs tomorrow, let me know if you made them!

i did make the meatballs. i think they could have used a bit more seasoning. and i did add some grape seed oil to them so they wouldn't bake up as dry. i did like the fact that they had olives in them. next time i would probably add some herbs to the mix to give them more flavor. i think even a little cumin would have been nice.
i bought a bag of carrots to make the carrot cake, but i need to find some time to do it. i'm horrible at balancing life and baby.

As much as I LOVE this book, the layout is odd, and I would prefer more pics of how too with food, like the website. I have made maybe 40% of the recipes, some exact and some with my own touches....again I love the book but I probably use the website more.
