To those who celebrate Any big plans? what are you going to eat? shopping??
We are doing a turkey trot and DD has a kids fun run prior to that. Gotta get moving soon to head out there. We are having dinner at a local vegan restaurant. my 5K won't justify my pig out. I am also going to Kohls at midnight, only because DH has to leave for work at 6:30 tomorrow so it is then or never because i won't bring DD there!
husband is doing the turkey trot in a couple of hours. it's right smack in the middle of carlos's nap time, soooooooooo we aren't going. otherwise, i've prepared most of the dishes about 90% done, so it'll be easy today. my father in law is here, so they will be watching football and doing the typical lazy man thanksgiving.
i'd love to go shopping in the morning, but i dont have it in me this year. we'll head out later friday and see what's left of the sales.
We drove three hours there and back to see family and just got home. We had an amazing vegan spread with meatless loaf, roasted veggies, twice baked sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
I'm stoked for leftovers tomorrow!
DH has to work in the morning and I'm pooped; so no shopping for me. There wasn't anything that seemed that spectacular to me this year, anyway. Have fun at Kohl's!
