What do you usually eat for breakfast? we mostly eat variations on oatmeal. Today i tried something new. I melted a banana in a saucepan until it was carmelized and stirred it into my oatmeal and it was delicious! no sweetener needed! It was super awesome. And a good way to cut out sugar.

We also eat tofu "eggs" and DD eats soy yogurt, and the occassional muffin or bagel. I love making muffins.

being latin, i didn't grow up eating sweet breakfast. my favorite breakfast is gallo pinto topped with some cotija cheese with some corn tortillas on the side. i could eat that every morning.
my husband is a huge oatmeal fan, so on occasion i'll join him in a bowl of scottish oats. but i have to add coconut, maybe some almonds, brown sugar, and i love adding a dash of dutch process cocoa to it. i really prefer eating buckwheat.
