So my husband and I are starting to actively try for our first baby, no luck yet... But I am vegetarian and he is definitely not ha. It's really no big deal to either of us for the other's food preferences, but we started talking the other day of how we would raise our future child. I know that most people would say 'let them choose when they're older' but like when they're younger, I would like them to start off vegetarian and possibly even more so vegan. My DH doesn't know if he agrees with this, so I just want some opinions on what some of you ladies have done.
My husband is vegetarian but I am not (though I only eat meat when we are eating out... we don't have any meat in the house). We are raising our son vegetarian. It was something DH felt very strongly about and I don't think DS needs meat to eat healthy, so it was ok with me.
I am vegetarian and my DH is a meat eater and our DD eats meat (well, gets offered meat, she's not too big on it). I don't have a problem with it and I want her to choose whether she wants to be vegetarian, vegan, or eat meat when she gets older.
