Yes, both pregnancies were meat free vegetarian since I've been vegetarian for over 10 years now. My son's pregnancy what much healthier than my daughter's and much more whole. My daughter's wasn't bad but I had more time to focus on being healthy and eating healthy when I was preggo with my guy.
My OBGYN was only as supportive as an uneducated person can be when it comes to understanding you can get protein from sources other than meat. I hate having to educate doctors about things.
I am trying. Had a bad week of eating chicken though... But tomorrow I'm back to buying my own groceries (we have a friend staying here and she'll just have to deal with what I cook cause I cant do this no more!) and back to veg we go!
