Hi my name is nellie.I would really like to change things around my house. We do eat meat but I am finding out is not so good.Actually Im finding out a lot of foods are not that good.We need to change our diet at home.Any Ideas on how to get started?I want to cut out meat.I have read up on some sites and I have not heard of some of the items they use.I want to use tofu but I heard it can mess up your body...that it can keep you from having babies if you eat a lot of it.Is that true? How does it help your body?Thank you very much

Well, anything made from soy (tofu, dairy-free products, etc), just make sure that it comes from non-GMO beans. If its organic and the beans weren't tampered with, theres not much issue with hormone issues from soy.

i posted a thread not that long ago about the truth about soy, so please look for it

Forks over Knives, the documentary, is a good starting point and they have a companion book, website and FB page. I find a lot of recipes on Fat Free Vegan's blog. Are you on pinterest? i am use merigayle. Beans are another good source of protein and if you at eggs, they are too. Welcome to our board and ask any questions you may have
