Hi there, I do weightwatchers, its a great plan and can be really easily suited to vege diets because of the way its done. Basically everything you eat has a points value, you are allowed to eat a maximum points per day depending on your starting weight. I find it great because basically I can eat what I want as long as I keep a track of the points I consume. I found it worked great for me, you can either join a meeting which is great for support or you can do it online ( I have never done the online one but I know women who have and they found it great!

but do their vegetarian meal options actually have variety or is it mostly consisting of mushrooms, squash etc...? I find those 2 to be in about 98% of what people/restaurants/recipes consider a vegetarian meal and I hate both of them.

I don't know if this helps but Weight Watchers did come out with a vegetarian book.

A lot of the time I make my own recipes but use the points system to work out how many points they are, I have this little card that will calculate the points value of the ingreadients - I did find some of their veggie options boring but alot of the weight loss plans are geared towards carnivores, once you understand the points system it is very easy to plan your own meals!. Last night I made pesto and parmasan pasta with a salad and a slice of garlic bread, I still eat plenty of cheese and eggs as well. I dont know about the other plans although I did try south beach for about a week - that was very hard to come up with veggie options for.
