I recently learned you can pop it! OMG, it is beyond delicious! You want to find ones with very small kernals and pop the kernels off with your finger/finger nail into a shallow bowl. Then you blow (outside) the husks out if any got in there and then pop. We used an air popper but my friend used a Whirly Pop. It is so sweet and tender and whatever color the kernel is, the inside of the popped popcorn is that color (purple, red, yellow, etc). You are also supposed to let it dry out before popping it, ours was picked by the farmer over a month ago, they say 1-2 months.
