So I made rosemary bread at Xmas and it was a stellar success. Today I am attempting to make hamburger buns and pita bread. Both are resting for their last rise in the kitchen Crossing fingers they turn out ok!

Do you make any breads? I want to do bagels one day. And soft pretzels. I am on a roll

I've done bagels once before...they turn out but I never tried again, even thought I keep saying I will..... I have done bread too and biscuits..... hate to say it but my patience is thin to wait for bread to rise but sometimes I still try

we've done whole wheat pita and they puffed up really nicely even at this altitude.
my husband has a sourdough starter he tends to and uses as a base to make artisan breads...he's really good at it and doesn't usually need to make altitude adjustments. he even uses that sourdough base to make stollen at christmas time. some of the breads he makes take 2-3 days. clearly he's a lot more patient than i am!
