i've been seeing it more and more and despite having the vitamix this seems like it would work better since i need to add liquid for the vitamix to break stuff down that way.

For the Yonanas the frozen bananas are supposed to be partially thawed, so maybe that is the problem with the vitamix? I never bought the Yonanas. I want a Vitamix.

i often find myself watching QVC kitchen shows...anyway, today the yonanas is the today's special value and it's in all these fun colors and it makes me want one for summer.
if the vitamix can make jamba juice like smoothies, it should be able to this yonanas style thing.

oh, i made it in the vitamix no problem, perfect consistancy and use the bananas right out of the freezer with a little almond or soy milk.

hmm..yah that was my issue, i didn't want to use a liquid/added calories. i tried in the vitamix a long time ago to make something similar..it was even a vitamix recipe for some sorbet and it wouldn't move with the amount of liquid they said.
well, it doesn't matter...I ORDERED THE YONANAS!! i have 30 days to love or hate it and can return it at least.
