If you're a super sleuth, you've figured out that I'm Katie and that I'm wicked new! Totally new to veganism, message boards and mommying. My son is almost 5 months and his father insisted that I become vegan along with the pregnancy, so I've come at it rather reluctantly. It's something I would want for my son, but I still have a hard time unseparating myself from my food sources - I'm so good at ignoring where my food comes from - I've practiced all my life. I do not regret this decision, but it's still difficult. Pregnancy found me giving up heavy drinking, heavy smoking, meat and dairy, and my home...typing it out reminds me how hard it all was, especially leaving my home to move somewhere I'd never even been to before, and I miss the hell out of goat and feta cheese!!!! So, ramble, ramble, ramble, HI!
