I am a 32 year old Mommy of 2 boys. One is nearly eleven years old and the other one is eight weeks old. I am a fourth generation vegetarian, starting with my great grandparents. My husband is not a vegetarian, but I only cook vegetarian meals and he seems to enjoy them. I am a meat and potatoes vegetarian, if there is such a thing. I enjoy just regular food, and am a bit nervous about trying what I consider the "new" funny vegetarian food, although I try them sometimes. I mean things with lots of sprouts and tofu. My mom was never a salad person, although she is in good shape, she just doesn't care for them, so I never had that type of food growing up, so it is more of a new thing to me. I eat FAR too many sugary foods and chips. I have a huge sweet tooth and definately need to eat healthier. So let's support each other, all of us!

I was a veggie during the summer's as a kid. My Grandfather's farm produced only veggies and fruits and so we have southern veggie meals all summer long. Man they were the best! So I always loved to eat veggies.
We became veggies about 1 1/2 ago. And I have loved every minute of our choice.
