I was born this way, and now I know nothing different. To eat meat is a strange thing to me, and to do so would make me grossed out. I don't mind other people eating meat though, although I feel sorry for the animal. I have tried a few things here and there that are meat, but I feel SO guilty AND nasty afterwards.
Jewelry for yourself, or for a friend. Breastfeeding aides, beautiful bracelets, earings and more.
Our veggie ways started as a "health" thing. And when my oldest song was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic over a year ago we went into it full-fledged knowing the wonderful benefits. If you go to www.pcrm.com you can read they why's of why a veggie diet is good for these kids.
Now it is for the animals as well. I hate how meat eating in such great quantities has pushed our beautiful animals into such a life of sorrow. It really makes me sick and I want no part of it!

I became a veggetarian when I was about 12yo. My Dad made supper one night and told me when I was done he'd give me a suprise. So I ate and when I was done he told me I just ate the deer he killed this afternoon.*SUPRISE!* I thought about seeing the deers head hanging over the back of his truck, blood comming out of her poor mouth. I never touched meat again. My DH became a veggetarian about 2 years after we started dating and never looked back. Now we are raising our 18mo DD as a veggetarian too!
