I am not vegetarian, but try to limit our meat intake and completely got rid of red meat pretty much. I cannot eat soybeans or other legumes due to allergies so a nurtitionist told me about a grain called quinoa. We love this stuff and it is great for ppl who can't eat wheat or gluten either. Wow that's a good source of iron and protein. I will have to look for it the next time I go grocery shopping. I wish I had a health food store around here since it says it may be hard to find at a regular grocery store. Oh well, I may have some luck. Thanks for mentioning it!!
