"I love you" is what I would love for her to say most although I think it will be a while before I hear her say three word sentinces since she doesn't even say two word sentinces yet.

"Mommy"

He says Daddy. but not since his baby days of "mama" has he said it

"I love you" would be awesome too! I think he has attempted to say it.

I just want him to be able to tell us his basic needs without getting frustrated. He has simple words down but when he's trying to really express something, it's hard for him.

I would love to hear a spontaneous "I love you" She has the words and will say them if prompted, but somehow that just feels kind of wrong.

My son is the SAME way! He only says "Daddy". He will sign "Mommy"... but won't say it. He used to kind of say it when he first started making sound, but not anymore.

For a long time, to him, we were BOTH "Daddy", LOL. I'd love it if he actually started calling me "Mommy".

And of course, I'd love to hear him say "I love you". He signs that one though.

Yeah, like he will see a pic of me & Dan and point to Dan and say "Daddy" and point to me and say "De" which is what he says when he doesn't know what to say....it is hard, but I know his heart and I know he loves me, as i do him!
