That they use to say words they can not say?

Evan says the word "De" for those things he can not say. Like, when he sees a motorcycle on the road he'll say "Bike! Bike!" but, when he sees a plane he says "De". Even though we have told him hundred's of times - "Evan, that's a plane" And even try to pronunciate it for him "puh-lane".

He just likes to hit me and point saying "mommy! Mommy!" over and over again. Then I have to guess what he is pointing at.

When we read books and Evan doesn't know how to say what it is he's looking at he points too.

Hunter will not say water...he says waby for water... i would understand wa over waby...there is no b or a y, but somehow he manages to put that in there
